Samantha Amico

Samantha Amico is a highly trained occupational therapist at  Alliance Orthopedics in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Sam specializes in treating the upper extremity, emphasizing pain management and getting her patients back to independence and the activities they love. As a former competitive softball player, Sam recognizes the dedication and passion needed to get the job done and bring athletes to the next level. 

Sam attended Caldwell University where she received her Bachelors in Psychology and Biology. She then attended Sacred Heart University where she obtained her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Sam’s clinical experiences include providing occupational therapy services to the pediatric population with developmental, sensory, and physical impairments as well as outpatient psychiatric facilities working with young adults. Sam is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and the American Heart Association BLS/CPR. Sam also holds a certification in the MoCA Cognitive Assessment after working with patients in a neurological driving rehabilitation setting. 

When she is not treating, Sam can be found hanging with family and friends, in the gym, or rooting for her beloved New York Mets!
