About Matthew Patterson:
Matthew Patterson, MSAT, LAT, ATC is a highly-skilled Athletic Trainer at Alliance Orthopedics in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Matt brings extensive experience in rehabilitative exercise, strength and conditioning, and sports medicine. His clinical background includes designing and implementing comprehensive ACL rehabilitation programs and working closely with Division I athletes to improve performance and prevent injury.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Master of Science in Athletic Training from High Point University, where he was also involved in undergraduate and graduate level research, contributing to multiple published clinical research studies. His hands-on clinical experience includes rotations at Wake Forest University Womenβs Soccer, High Point Universityβs Menβs Lacrosse, Forsyth Country Day School, and Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. During these rotations, he provided care for athletic injuries, conducted emergency response, and managed ACL rehabilitation, giving him valuable insight into various rehabilitation demands.
As a former lacrosse player, Matt understands the challenges of injury recovery and draws on his personal and professional experience to guide patients through practical and effective rehabilitation. With certifications in Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and CPR/AED, Matt is well-equipped to meet his patients needs.
