Joseph Motto

Dr. Joseph Motto, OTD, OTR/L is a highly trained Occupational Therapist at Alliance Orthopedics in Freehold, NJ. He specializes in rehabilitation of the upper extremity, and is dedicated to reducing pain while maximizing function and independence in all activities of life.

Joe attended Seton Hall University, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Studies. From there, Joe attended Monmouth University, where he earned his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Fieldwork experiences included Home Health and TBI Outpatient settings where he provided evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic activities, manual therapy, and cognitive training all while providing education to patients, caregivers, and families. Having conducted research on the utilization of golf in a clinical setting, Joe has a particular passion for working with golfers to improve their performance and recover from injuries. 

Joe is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and the American Heart Association Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. He looks forward to providing skilled occupational therapy services to all patients and values their goals to getting better everyday!
