
About Charlize Colón:
Charlize Colón, MOT, OTR/L, is a highly trained Occupational Therapist at Alliance Orthopedics. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to help every patient reach their fullest potential through energy, empathy, and a whole-person approach.
Charlize earned her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University. Her clinical background includes working with children with cognitive and visual-motor delays, older adults managing mental health conditions, and patients with a range of acute cardiac, pulmonary, and orthopedic diagnoses. Charlize is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and the American Heart Association Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR.
She specializes in treating orthopedic upper extremity conditions, and with a deep passion for fitness, Charlize emphasizes relieving pain and improving quality of life through movement as medicine. She takes a client-centered approach, working closely with each individual to create personalized care plans that support both physical and mental goals.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find Charlize lifting at the gym, practicing her DJ skills, or exploring the latest foodie hot spots!
