Alexis Long

Alexis Long, PT, DPT, CSCS is a highly trained physical therapist at Alliance Orthopedics in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She specializes in the rehabilitation of athletes, to decrease pain and help them return to the sport they love.

Alexis attended The University of Scranton, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with a minor in Nutrition. From there, she continued her education at the University of Scranton, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Her clinical experience consists of both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, including experience in a level I trauma center.  Alexis has experience training collegiate teams including basketball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, baseball, softball, and volleyball. As a former collegiate athlete, she has a passion for treating athletes to facilitate a return to sport.

Alexis is certified by the New Jersey Board of Physical Therapy as a licensed physical therapist and Basic Life support per the American Red Cross. She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist holding certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
