A native of Queens, New York, Dr. Ashmyan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics (Magna Cum Laude) from Queens College before completing his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He pursued his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia, followed by fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Ashmyan’s clinical expertise covers all aspects of orthopedic surgery. He has participated in medical mission trips to India and Ecuador, providing orthopedic care to underserved populations.
