Gunnar Schnappauf

The son of a chiropractor, Dr. Gunnar has been fortunate enough to have experienced chiropractic care since the day he was born. Routine chiropractic care has helped alleviate his asthma and improve his performance with sports, and overall health. 

 Dr. Gunnar realized at an early age that chiropractic care was more than just neck and back pain–it’s about maintaining a healthy lifestyle with combined effort in eating well and exercising regularly. This ultimately led to his journey in earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University.

Dr. Gunnar is passionate about empowering people to take control of their health and works to stop society’s acceptance of living every day with pain. He believes in a holistic approach to maintaining balance, vitality, and peak health performance through regular chiropractic adjustments, optimum nutrition, daily exercise, supplementation, and eliminating toxins and stress. 

Dr. Gunnar’s philosophy when treating patients is that structure = function. When the bones and joints are misaligned, it creates added stress on the body that is often hard to overcome. This creates added stress on the muscles, tendons and ligaments that are attached to those bones and joints. By removing the misalignments, there is less nerve interference, and the body is able to heal itself. When your body’s structure is sound, your function will be optimal thus reducing injury, pain, and ultimately… disease. 

In his free time, Dr. Gunnar loves to work out, fish, ski, golf, and–of course–enjoys a good beach day.
