Andrew Sim, MD

Andrew Sim, MD, is a board-certified pain management specialist at Alliance Orthopedics in Fair Lawn, Bloomfield, and Randolph, where he is committed to helping patients across New Jersey find meaningful, long-lasting relief from pain. Originally from New York City, Dr. Sim began his academic journey at New York University, where he majored in clinical psychology and was recognized as a National Merit Scholar. His achievements earned him the prestigious Henry M. Baird scholarship. He went on to earn his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, graduating with cum laude honors.

Following medical school, Dr. Sim completed his residency in anesthesiology at Montefiore Medical Center, part of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in interventional pain management at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in Manhattan, where he gained specialized experience in advanced pain relief techniques.

Dr. Sim is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He is an active member of several leading medical organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the International Neuromodulation Society.

Known for his thoughtful and individualized approach, Dr. Sim takes time to understand each patient’s needs, offering comprehensive, evidence-based treatments to manage chronic pain and improve their quality of life.
