Dr. John Cho is a pain management specialist and medical director at Alliance Orthopedics, where he proudly cares for patients in the Old Bridge and Union community and beyond. As a board-certified physician with a subspecialty in pain management, Dr. Cho is passionate about helping people find relief through advanced, minimally invasive orthopedic treatments, so that they can get back to living life fully.
Dr. Cho began his journey in medicine at the University of Illinois, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to attend Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, followed by an internship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in interventional pain management and anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Morningside (formerly St. Luke’s – Roosevelt/Columbia Presbyterian), gaining hands-on experience in the latest techniques to treat both acute and chronic pain. While he specializes in neck and back conditions, Dr. Cho treats a wide range of pain issues with a personalized and compassionate approach. His goal is always to help patients move better, live better, and feel better everyday.
Dr. Cho is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York. He’s affiliated with Holy Name Medical Center and Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Cho enjoys spending time with his family, staying active in his church community, and volunteering with his local youth group.
