Kiera Carrigan
About Kiera Carrigan:
Kiera Carrigan, MSOT, OTR/L is a highly trained occupational therapist at Alliance Orthopedics. She specializes in rehabilitation of the upper extremity, focusing on decreasing chronic pain and maximizing function and independence in all activities of life.
Kiera attended The University of Scranton, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Psychology. From there, Kiera continued her education at The University of Scranton, where she earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Her fieldwork experiences were comprised of treating adults and children with various upper extremity and neurological deficits, including work with post-surgical hand rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, and pediatric intervention. Kiera is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and the American Heart Association Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED.
Outside of treating, Kiera loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling, exercising, and cooking! Kiera’s goals include getting you back to the activities that you love and ensuring you get better every day at Alliance Orthopedics!
