Gabriel Guzman, MS, LAT, ATC is a licensed and board-certified Athletic Trainer at Alliance Orthopedics in Fairlawn. He specializes in manual therapy, acute and chronic injury rehabilitation, preventative care, and exercise techniques .
Gabriel attended Florida International University, where he earned both a bachelor’s degree in Biology of Science and a Masters degree in Athletic Training. His clinical fieldwork involved working with high school, college athletes at top ranked high schools and universities along with 2 full semesters in a clinical setting working with pro athletes, where he evaluated and rehabilitated on and off-field injuries, worked on post-operative athletes, provided emergency medical care, and applied a variety of therapeutic modalities in order to return athlete’s to their respective sports.
As a former athlete of 23 years who also play in a division II college, he has had his fair share of injuries which is why he wanted to become an athletic trainer and continue to show his passion in assisting other athletes during their recovery from injuries. Gabriel is certified by the Board of Certification Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED by American Red Cross. Certified in Dry Needling, Certified in Cupping, and will be completing his Certification of Strength and Conditioning.
