Emily Beenders

Emily Beenders, MOT, OTR/L, is a compassionate and highly skilled occupational therapist at Alliance Orthopedics, specializing in helping individuals recover and regain independence following upper extremity injuries. She focuses on maximizing function, reducing pain, and improving quality of life for her patients.

Emily earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Montclair State University before continuing her education at Seton Hall University, where she obtained her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Her fieldwork experiences include working with a wide range of patients, including older adults, helping them recover from upper extremity injuries and surgeries. She is passionate about providing tailored care that helps individuals improve their daily activities, maintain their independence, and enhance overall well-being.

With a strong foundation in both exercise science and occupational therapy, Emily is dedicated to improving the lives of those she works with, supporting them in regaining their strength and functionality at any stage of life. Emily is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and the American Heart Association Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR.
