Dennis Fernandes

Dennis Fernandes, PT, DPT is a skilled physical therapist at Alliance Orthopedics. He specializes in the treatment of sports-related injuries such as knee pain, shoulder pain, and concussion rehabilitation, with a strong focus on guiding athletes through a safe and confident return to sport—especially soccer.

Dr. Dennis attended Rutgers University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Kean University. His clinical rotations provided him with experience across a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions, further strengthening his ability to analyze movement, reduce pain, and restore functional performance.

Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish, Dr. Dennis places great importance on patient education—ensuring each person feels informed, supported, and empowered throughout their care.

Dr. Dennis is certified by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy and is also CPR and First Aid certified. His background as both a clinician and long-term soccer coach drives his commitment to delivering individualized, evidence-based care to every patient he works with.

While he is not working, Dr. Dennis enjoys traveling, playing soccer, providing personal training to athletes, and supporting Manchester United.
