Courtney DeFeo

Courtney DeFeo, MS, LAT, ATC is a highly-skilled athletic trainer at Alliance Orthopedics. Courtney specializes in the prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of all orthopedic injuries.

Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Delaware. She then earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Kentucky. As a graduate assistant athletic trainer, Courtney served as an athletic trainer at a local high school and middle school. Prior to Alliance, Courtney served as an athletic trainer at Ursinus College with their football, men’s and women’s swimming, and women’s lacrosse teams.

Courtney also has experience working in the NFL as a summer intern with the Los Angeles Chargers. She has a research interest in sport-related concussion, with publications in the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation and the International Journal of Athletic Therapy & Training on the topic.

Courtney is passionate about returning her patients back to doing the things that they love. She is certified by the Board of Certification and CPR/AED certified by the American Heart Association.
