About Amanda Sosunov:
Amanda Sosunov, MOT, OTR/L, CPT is a highly trained occupational therapist at Alliance Orthopedics in Fair Lawn, NJ. She specializes in rehabilitation of the upper extremity, focusing on decreasing chronic pain, returning to sports, and maximizing function and independence in all activities of life.
Amanda is originally from Long Island, NY where she competed as a gymnast her entire childhood which sparked her love for rehabilitation after many injuries. Amanda then attended the University of Tampa, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Sciences. From there, Amanda attended the University of St. Augustine, where she earned his Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Amanda’s clinical experiences include providing occupational therapy services to the pediatric population with developmental and cognitive impairments and to the adult/geratricΒ population with orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and pulmonary conditions. Amanda is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and the American Heart Association BLS/CPR. She is also a certified personal trainer holding certification with the National Academy of Sport Medicine.
When she is not working, Amanda can be seen at the gym, hanging with her friends and family, or trying the best cuisines around town. Amanda looks forward to getting her patients better and back to doing what they love!
