Maybelle Maningat, DPM

Dr. Maybelle Maningat, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle specialist in New Jersey. Dr. Maningat earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from Syracuse University, graduating cum laude, and went on to receive her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, where she was inducted into the Pi Delta National Honor Society. She completed her three-year surgical residency at CarePoint Health in New Jersey, with a focus on training and specializing in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, as well as trauma of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Maningat is dedicated to delivering personalized and compassionate care to patients of all ages and activity levels, regardless of their foot and ankle condition or injury. She provides expert foot and ankle surgery for all of her patients in New Jersey with a special focus on correcting lower extremity deformities, managing complex foot and ankle fractures, treating arthritis, and addressing sports-related injuries. With advanced training in minimally invasive procedures and revision surgery, Dr. Maningat helps patients get back on their feet with less downtime and better long-term outcomes.

A former competitive dancer, Dr. Maningat brings a unique perspective to foot and ankle care. She understands, on a personal level, the balance, strength, and flexibility required of dancers and athletes. This firsthand insight allows her to tailor treatment plans that support recovery without compromising performance. She also collaborates with a trusted network of physical therapists and foot and ankle surgeons in New Jersey who are experienced in treating dancers, offering a team-based, multidisciplinary approach designed for faster and safer healing.

Dr. Maningat also believes in starting with conservative care whenever possible, reserving foot and ankle surgery for cases where it’s truly necessary. Her goal is always to support each patient’s lifestyle, goals, and long-term mobility, whether that means helping a runner train pain-free or guiding an older adult through arthritis management.

Outside of her work at Alliance Orthopedics, Dr. Maningat stays active and adventurous. She enjoys running half marathons, skiing, rock climbing, hiking, and functional fitness, bringing the same energy and dedication to her personal life that she brings to every patient she treats throughout North Jersey at our orthopedic clinics in Bloomfield, Fair Lawn, and Randolph.
