About Daniel Melon:
Daniel Melon, DPT is a highly trained physical therapist at Alliance Orthopedics. Daniel specializes in rehabilitation of the spine and lower extremity, focusing on decreasing chronic pain, maximizing independence, and returning his patients back to their prior level of function.
Dan attended Rutgers University, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science: Applied Kinesiology. From there, Dan attended New York Medical College, where he earned his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Fieldwork experiences include work with post-surgical spine and knee rehabilitation, balance training, and working with individuals following joint replacement of the hip and knee.Β As a former athlete, he has a passion for treating athletes to facilitate a return to sport.
Dan is certified by the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR. Dan’s hobbies and interests include: snowboarding, golfing, lifting, and enjoying time with his wife Heather and lab mix Duke!
