Jonathan Lee, DO, is an ACGME fellowship-trained pain management specialist, dual board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine, serving patients throughout New Jersey, offering compassionate, state-of-the-art care for the full spectrum of acute and chronic pain conditions, from everyday back, neck, and joint pain to more complex cases.

Dr. Lee has extensive and unique experience which he offers to his patients. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University, he returned home to New Jersey to attend Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he obtained his medical degree. He graduated with honors as a member of the Sigma Phi Honors Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and compassionate care.

He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he was honored to serve as Chief Resident.

He then pursued one of the most highly regarded interventional pain fellowships in the country. He completed his training through the Tri-Institutional Pain Fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. At these world-renowned institutions, he mastered the most advanced, minimally invasive pain management techniques and pharmacologic options available today.

Dr. Lee’s training and experiences uniquely position him to treat the full range of pain conditions using the latest image-guided procedures, advanced minimally invasive interventional technologies, and evidence-based, non-opioid approaches, all tailored to each patient’s individual goals. Whether you’re dealing with spine pain, joint pain, nerve pain, sports injuries, cancer-related pain, or a condition that hasn’t responded to other treatments, Dr. Lee has the credentials and expertise to help. Dr. Lee also performs EMG and nerve conduction studies, providing a valuable diagnostic tool to better investigate, differentiate, and pinpoint the source of challenging pain syndromes. His clinical interests include neuromodulation, such as spinal cord stimulation, and regenerative medicine procedures such as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy.

Outside of the office, Dr. Lee cherishes time with his wife and family, stays active through his love of golf and snowboarding, and enjoys catching games as a lifelong Knicks fan.
